Bracken's Puppies Nov.2016
Bracken waiting!! She thinks she is going to have her puppies on my bed!!

My bed was safe!! She decided the whelping box was the right spot! Unfortunately a puppy decided to block the opening and was straight across it. No-one could get out so she had to have a c-section. On the x-ray you can see the skull and backbone lying straight across her hip bones blocking the opening.
The puppy was stillborn but she has 5 very healthy piglets!! They haven't stopped eating! There are 3 girls and 2 boys. The girls have purple marks on them - head, back and tail. The boys have green marks - head, back.
Bracken had 5 healthy puppies on Wed. Nov16 around 9.30 am. All are doing well.
day 2. Boys have the green marks and girls the purple marks. The boys are the lightest and darkest in colour! Salt and pepper!!! The girls are in the mid- gold. Bracken took right away to motherhood! She loves puppies so is very attentive.

day 11. We can almost see!!!! Our eyes are starting to open. You can see shinynin the corners. They didn't like teh bright light to take pics so closed them!!

day 39. I had the puppies out at 10.30 last night and all 5 pooped!!! I had them out right after breakfast this morning and all 5 pooped!! They are learning!! I didn't have my camera out as it was snowing quite hard. The puppies loved it!! They ran around all over the place. GH - green head loves the slide!! He went over all by himself and climbed up and slid down! Then he ran around and did it again!! They didn't want to come in! I'll try and get more pics today.
